Assemblymember Kevin McCarty was first elected to the Assembly in 2014. Assemblymember McCarty represents the 6th Assembly District which includes the majority of the City of Sacramento and parts of the unincorporated County. Assemblymember McCarty serves as Chair of the Budget Subcommittee No. 2 on Education Finance.
