Assemblymember Wilson serves as Chair of the California Legislative Black Caucus, as well as Chair of the Assembly Transportation Committee.

Assemblymember Wilson was first elected in a Special Election in April of 2022. Assemblymember Wilson represents the 11th Assembly District which includes the cities of Dixon, Vacaville, Rio Vista, Oakley, Fairfield, Suisun City, Benicia and Vallejo
